I bought my first ever camera when I was 11 years old at a yard sale near my home. It was a very old Kodak #2 from around 1910 and it worked well. I asked my aunt to purchase some B&W 120 roll film for me and started my photographic education through trial and error. During my time in the military, I became interested in landscape and documentary photography while in the city of West Berlin, Germany. I recognized that everything changes over time. These days, I still focus on documentary and landscape photography with my second hand Hasselblad X1D and Sony A7RV cameras. Maybe some day I'll be able to afford a new camera.
