Jim Grafsgaard has an international career as a painter, printmaker, photographer, muralist, animator and educator. His art is known for its originality, optimistic energy and color, on themes of nature, music and the human figure. He has studios in Minnesota USA and Yucatan Mexico, and has also lived in Spain, California and Micronesia.
