I first picked up a camera as a child, and have been snapping happily ever since. I travel often up and down the Pacific coast. Occasionally, I venture further afield.
My photography highlights the connections we have with one another, and with the animals and ecosystems that surround us. I often use my photography to support the conservation groups that keep our wild places safe. The more I travel, the more I realize how interconnected we humans are, and how much we depend on the wilderness, which in turn depends on us.
I love to travel, but believe that beauty can be found in one's own neighbourhood, not just in exotic, far-flung locales. Just look for it, and it is there.
