Khalid Al Kharusi is a landscape and travel photographer, and a photography tour guide. He was born and raised in Muscat, Oman. Since his childhood, Khalid has always felt fortunate to grow up in a country with rich culture, diverse landscape and untouched nature.
As Khalid has been photographing Oman since 1991, he now has one of the country’s largest image libraries. His photographs have been featured in magazines and books, both in Oman and internationally. Since 2001, Khalid has published the Discover Oman calendar and the Discover Oman postcard series, and in 2020, he has published two photobooks Iceland: the Earthly Paradise and Oman: a Paradise of Land and People.
Khalid has been traveling around the world exploring many destinations in search for the best moments to capture. His growing interest in journeys and outdoor activities have led him to success sharing the beauty he encounters along the way. Throughought his lens, Khalid expresses the magnificence of the Planet Earth and the heartbeats of life!
