Joanna Szumska, born in 1965, is a Polish painter whose work focuses on the harmony between humans and nature, as well as the strength of femininity. In 1985, she graduated from the State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Warsaw and subsequently worked in the stage design studio of Teatr Baj.
In her artistic practice, Szumska draws inspiration from nature, music, poetry, and the rhythm of urban life.
