My designs depict abstracts, naïve landscapes, Americana and hyperrealistic elements, much of it generated with Artificial Intelligence, mostly with Midjourney. These images have been computed by interpreting instructional prompts and reference images that I created earlier. The reference images have either been generated as well or they come from original photographs I have taken over the past 40 years. The approach provides a consistent artistic style based on my own interactions with AI and my curation from a large amount of candidates. Each image comes with a unique GUID that Midjourney has associated with my persona (@ikomj) and my interactions while creating each piece. The GUID can be used to verify the actual image, date and time of generation, and the account under which it was initiated.
Editions
Most images are offered in limited editions of 50 prints, between $72 and $276 for a canvas print of up to 36x36 inches. Occasionally, we also offer Editions of One going between $738 and $1338 for a 36x36 inches stretched canvas print. If you see a regular 50 prints edition image that you would prefer as a single print edition, check back with us. We may be able to change a virgin print edition into a single print edition, provided no prints have been made yet.
Background
I am a retired computer programmer, enthusiastic photographer - mostly wildlife and landscapes - and now, AI art designer. I grew up in a creative family. My parents ran an art gallery for 25 years and all my siblings found themselves in creative professions, such as fine art, book illustration, architecture, graphic design, and photography. One of my early influences was the naïve art of Thomas McKnight, especially his early oil paintings from the 1960s. Combining naïve landscapes, often found as stylized textures of natural elements, such as grass, sand, rocks, trees and clouds, with hyperrealistic renderings of man-made objects, such as vehicles, clothing, all things metal appealed to me. The abstract side of my endeavor is just as limitless and mostly driven by aesthetics and balance. In the "Blend" section you will find the merger of my naïve and abstract designs. In "Hybrid" you will find blends between realistic and abstract, and in "[3:4]" I show images in 3:4 aspect ratio emulating colorful oil paintings. Thanks for visiting.
