The Get Up! Let’s Go Gallery!!!(c) was birthed out of my joy to offer visual art that honors your swag, your sweat and your drive.
As the Owner of the Get Up Let’s Go!!!(c) Gallery let me tell a little about myself. I’m a first generation American who grew up in Washington Heights in NYC. My mom was from Honduras and my dad from the Dominican Republic.
My mother immigrated to NYC in the 60s from Honduras and raised me and instilled in me a strong work ethic and a fight until you can’t fight and then fight some more attitude.
Since my early years of living in Washington Heights in NYC I have since earned my Masters degree, opened businesses, I am very involved in community service and I’m also the Co-Host of Sheba Talks (shebatalks.nowcast.cc)that is owned and founded by my mentor, and life coach …
Queen Sheba who has been training for over three decades men and women like myself, to be WINNERS, find your WINGS and FLY ABOVE the challenges in life.
Under her mentorship and now as the Co-Host of Sheba Talks we talk about the importance of TAKING OWNERSHIP of our response to situations, adjusting our perception to life circumstances and fighting for emotional and physical VICTORIES..
I’ve applied these principles to my own life when I was diagnosed with Cancer a few years ago which the Lord himself healed me from.
As a result of LIVING AN INTENTIONAL LIFE I’ve tapped into my genius of teaching, expression through graphic design and visual arts and encouraging others, especially women to FIND THEIR GENIUS and to Get up! Let’s Go!!!
Who are our customers?
Our customers are from all walks in life. THEY HAVE CONFIDENCE, GRIT, HEART and SWAG. They have a Get Up! Let’s Go!!!(c) drive. They are a whole breath of fresh air. Why? Because they add value whenever they step into a room.
Some of our customers are big boned, some of us are skinny some have short hair and others rock the Afro. we have black girl Magic and we represent all of what is beautiful about being a woman. We’re BBWs, Curvy Blondes, Full figured Asians, Gorgeous Native Americans, West Indian Hero’s, Irish All Day and more.
Some of us are Older & Wiser, Besties, Sisters, Aunts, Cousins, Abuela’s and more. We’re Single, Divorced, Dating and married. Some of us are dedicated to one man and some of us are not. Some of us have pimples, stretch marks, and corn on our feet. We’re Bombastic and all of that!
Some of us are athletic and others prefer the pace of walking the dog. Some of us are crafters and others have a team of employees. Some of us are homemakers raising the next generation of leaders and some us are on our grind in college thinking about finals and school projects
We dazzle! We’re Real! We’re Unique!Indeed the one thing our customers say wherever they are and in what ever language they speak …they believe that they are suppose to …
