As a professional artist, Corey Ribotsky has been selling his works since 2004. He received his MFA from The School of Visual Arts New York City.
As a child, Corey remembers wanting to draw and create. Since each medium has its own unique process and finished product, he experimented with many in his youth. During his school years, the artist took advantage of every opportunity to create art.
As one of the most difficult paints to master, watercolor has always been the artist's favorite medium. As well as watercolor, Corey is proficient in oils, acrylics, pastels, pencil, charcoal, ink, and block printing.
With transparent watercolor, Corey Ribotsky captures the luminosity of subjects bathed in dramatic light. He has recently returned to some of the mediums he used years ago and has mixed them with watercolor to create mixed media works.
Corey has also taught classes in New York to beginners and advanced students for the past three years.
