I make mixed media paintings from salvaged papers, vintage ephemera, and paint — layered the way memories are, full of stories you can almost read if you look closely enough. My subjects are barns, birds, wildflowers, and the quiet corners of Midwestern life. I paint full-time from my studio in Carroll, Iowa, for the people who spend their lives caring for everyone else and rarely give themselves permission to slow down. These prints are that permission.
One tree planted for every print. Pictorem supports Trees for the Future, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, that operates an agroforesty program to restore trees to degraded lands by working with smallholder farmers.
