I enjoy painting in gouache and watercolor from the things that I see in nature, and the things I am interested in such as fly fishing. I regularly see many animals near home and the surrounding area including moose, elk, white tail deer, bald eagles, golden eagles and an occasional grizzly or wolf. I enjoy cross-country skiing, backpacking, kayaking, fishing, and hiking in Grand Tetons National Park and Yellowstone National Park, which are both just an hour and a half away.

ABOUT THIS ARTWORK: HOOKED
Hooked is painted in Gouache watercolor, showing a rainbow trout hooked on a fly, and is a print from the original painting. The rainbow trout is native only to the rivers and lakes of North America, west of the Rocky Mountains, but its value as a hard-fighting game fish has led to its introduction around the world. The Rainbow trout, has coloring and patterns that vary widely depending on habitat, age, and spawning condition. A great gift for the fisherman.
