Welcome to Morteza Golpoor's photography page. I hope that you enjoy browsing through these pages as much as I did putting them together. My interests in art started when I was 14. I enjoyed painting and attended classes of a master painter for 5 years. I enjoyed drawing enormously but more importantly I learnt the importance of light and how it effects what we see and how we feel at a particular moment in time.
I moved to photography in 1975 when I bought my first serious SLR, a Yashica camera with all manual control which was built like a tank and works to this date. Since then my equipment has obviously changed but my passion remains the same which is to capture moments in time that conveys the beauty of the natural world around us. Whilst I embrace and use all sensible technological advances in photography I only use these to enhance my work and never to include things that were not in the scene originally.
My professional life has been in IT but I retired in 2019. I am a resident of New Jersey and I exclusively work with the best equipment. Prints ordered through this site will provide you with unique and unparalleled artworks for your home or business.
