Welcome to Paintings by Dr. Portia!
The essence of each painting is Divinely inspired. I do not begin with a predetermined image. Instead, I listen. The colors, brushstrokes, forms, textures, scale, and orientation of each canvas emerge through an intuitive and spiritual process that I experience as collaboration between human expression and divine guidance.
My paintings represent a meeting place between humanity and divinity—between psychological truth and spiritual possibility. They invite viewers to encounter their own stories, recognize their own resilience, and imagine new possibilities for healing and transformation.
Ultimately, my hope is that my work does more than decorate a wall. I hope it creates space for reflection, awakens something long forgotten, and reminds each viewer that growth is always possible. Through both my story and my art, I hope others are inspired to return home to themselves.
