Kelly Bates is the internationally recognized, award-winning photographer and artist behind DeepEarth Photography. With degrees in mechanical, industrial, and systems engineering, Kelly is heavily engaged as a technical subject matter expert in a 10-billion dollar program to modernize the telecommunications infrastructure in the largest integrated healthcare system in the United States.
Artist's Statement: Capturing some small vision of the world, one that aligns with how my imagination perceives it, rather than as it might be: How my eye catches a curve, a pose, an element, a geometric construct, out of the context of how it relates to the objective reality around it.
