ABOUT IVAN COHENE fs
Follow

Ivan Cohene, professional Canadian photographer, husband and father, was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. His Montreal circular image was selected among 10,000 photographs from 65 countries around the world and landed him in the Finalist Group of the Best of Photography 2014. Ivan became attracted to the craft of photographic art at the young age of 14, once he discovered and fiddled around with his father’s 35mm Practika camera. During the high school years, his studies and main focus centered on the graphic arts. He then decided to further his education with the School of Modern Photography located in the heart of downtown Montreal. Ivan’s passion for the arts paved the way towards opportunities that enabled him to work and apply his knowledge and skills in various photographic labs and studios within his native hometown. Since the arrival of the digital photography era, Ivan has actively pursued his love for freelance photography during his travels far and wide. His knack to spot unique and interesting scenes, which he then magically reproduces onto a canvas and screen, has earned him professional recognition in the great world of photography.
