ABOUT THIS ARTWORK: SOME THINGS ALWAYS CHANGE
As my brother and I woke up early one morning we headed up to the mountains to catch the sunrise. The clouds were covering the mountains completely as we made our way to a spot I’ve been to before. We waited around, hoping for a break in the clouds, just enough to see the mountains tops. The conditions around us were ever changing, including the colors of the trees some were orange, some were red some were in between summer and fall color and some hadn’t changed yet. Others were past peak and faded and some were bright and vibrant as ever. I know if I make my way up there, even today, a couple days later, the colors will have changed. That’s what I love about photographing the fall colors. The conditions, the weather, the temperature, the sun, the mountains the colors are always changing.
