Depuis plus de 50 ans, ce que mes yeux regardent ce dont je veux me souvenir, l’index de ma main droite les retient. Aujourd’hui, j’ai envie de partager quelques images gravées d’abord dans ma mémoire, puis, à coups de Ctrl-S, et de plusieurs Z, enfin, sur un disque dur, dans un nuage. Elles étaient là, latentes, en devenir. Le but premier, montrer que ce qui nous entoure est beau, que ça mérite d’être regardé. Aussi, certes, partager ma vision du monde, partager une passion. Images colorées, images saturées, images noir et blanc, texturées, images superposées, en plan rapproché, en transparence, en très gros-plan, images dessinées, images idéologiques, poétiques, plastiques, inventées, images hommages, images de portraits volés au hasard de promenades… elles restent toutes, image par image, des séquences de la vie. Montréal, Barcelone, Paris, Saint-Pétersbourg, Moscou, Zagreb, Istanbul, Amsterdam, Berlin, Édimbourg, Dublin, Prague, Cracovie, Venise ou Rome, ces villes ont toutes en commun la beauté. Beauté du laid et du beau, splendeur de la normalité, aveuglément de l’invisible. Un regard sur l’histoire, sur l’art, la musique, la peinture, la sculpture, mais aussi un regard sur le quotidien et sur ce qu’on ne voit pas. Sur l’invisible. L’irréel. Le transparent. Sur ce qu’on ne voit plus. Le passé. Difficile de photographier le présent, même à 1/8000e de seconde.
