While making our way through Baxter State Park on the Appalachian Trail a beam of light caught my attention that was illuminating a small tree among it's giant ancestors off of the path. The little tree seemed to stand a lot taller than it looked because of the moss covered rock that it decided to grow upon. We all start out small and grow into something great. The path along the way of the journey is what matters most, not the destination. Stop and appreciate the little things along the way and life becomes all that much more beautiful.
