Introducing my latest artwork: "El Tomatero," a 9x12 oil painting on panel. During my childhood in Jayuya, Puerto Rico, my family owned a piece of land where we grew and harvested tomatoes ???? as a means to support ourselves. We would sell them along the roadside or approach people downtown, who would eagerly purchase them. My father would even exchange boxes of tomatoes for food and other supplies at a nearby supermarket called Supermercado Ivan. These fond memories bring back a sense of joy and nostalgia.
