ABOUT THIS ARTWORK: MORNING GLORY
The flowers in a vivid purple hue are arranged in such a way that makes you feel you woke in a field of wild flowers. The sun is depicted as a glowing orb just starting to peek over the horizon, with its warm golden rays spreading across the sky. The whole scene is imbued with a sense of warmth, with the colors and brushstrokes working together to create an almost dreamlike atmosphere, like a photograph, rather painted with attention to the smallest detail. It's the kind of painting that makes you feel like you're standing right there in the middle of the field, you can almost smell the flowers and hear the bumble of the bee. This painting was completed during a quick-finish at the Auction for the Arts at the Montage Resort in Big Sky, MT in March of 2023. The original was sold that night.
