My body of work focuses mainly on the many beautiful scenes and the wildlife of natural Florida. Bon Appetit by HH Photography of Florida. An original digital art creation showing a bottle of olive oil surrounded by olive tree leaves and a white floral component. A textured background in greens and rusts with drips and spatters and the words Bon appetit appear vertically down the right side of this vertical format work of art. The beautiful, golden oil of the olive fruit (Olea europaea) is used extensively in cooking but its use extends beyond culinary areas into cosmetics, soaps, pharmaceuticals, fuels for oil lamps and religious ceremonies, to name a few. Olive trees have been grown in countries surrounding the Mediterranean Sea since the 8th millennium BC including Italy, Greece, Sicily, Spain and Crete to name a few. The olive is one of the three core foods comprising the Mediterranean diet along with wheat and grapes.
