David Russell Schilling is an acclaimed artist known for his distinct free-flowing painting style that transports the observer to a magical realm. His journey began with studies under Gordon Muck in upstate New York, followed by further training at the Art Students League in NYC. He later broadened his skill set even further with classes at the Takabijutsu Atelier School in Tokyo and deepening his knowledge of art under a graduate from The Washington Studio School while there. Throughout his lifetime, David has consistently used art to discover joy and purpose.

ABOUT THIS ARTWORK: SUMMER LIGHTHOUSE

The title of the artwork is "Lighthouse on a Summer's Day" and it features a body of water with a lighthouse in the background. It was created by David Russell Schilling and is categorized as land art. The digital painting holds deep, rich, decaying colors that seem to bleed into each other. The carpet-like texture has an organic feel that gives the piece its unique style.
