La peinture et le dessin ont ponctué ma vie à la façon des trois points de suspension. Un dessin par-ci, une peinture par-là, souvent quand ça n’allait pas. Cela a toujours été pour moi un moyen d’expression là où les mots se sont tus. En 2013, après une importante prise de conscience, je décide de ne plus mettre de côté ma créativité artistique, de reconnaître que je suis une créative, une manuelle et de lui donner sa place chaque fois que cela sera possible jusqu’à ce qu’elle devienne l’autre partie de moi-même. Entre 2013 et 2015, je peins l’Himalaya à l’aquarelle, la région du globe qui m’appelle tant. Un livre verra le jour à la suite du terrible séisme qui frappa le Népal en avril 2015. Les bénéfices iront apporter un peu de soutien. Ce fût une belle ouverture pour ma peinture et comme une évidence puisqu’avec mon fils nous venions de découvrir une des régions les plus touchées quelques mois auparavant. Entre 2015 et 2018, mes aquarelles de paysages himalayens, inspirés de photos, se sont ouverts à plus d’imaginaire, se transformant parfois dans l’instant et donnant vie à des tableaux plus intuitifs et vibratoires. 2019, une envie de laisser l’eau, la transparence et les pigments que sont l’aquarelle pour découvrir l’opacité, la matière et les couleurs vives qu’offre l’acrylique. Les encres viendront s’ajouter à mes essais ainsi que la reprise du dessin. C’est toute cette richesse d’expériences que je partagerai lors de l’exposition “Des-Equilibres d’après Nature !” de 2019/2020. 2020, je pousse un peu plus loin ma découverte de l’acrylique et mon envie de faire de l’abstrait avec le pouring. Cela a donné lieu à la série “Chaos”, comme une représentation de ma vision et de mes ressentis de notre monde. Je suis une autodidacte née, j’aime expérimenter, explorer par moi-même, je suis d’une nature curieuse ajoutée à une envie d’apprendre encore et toujours. Réussites, échecs, essais, beaucoup d’observation, de recherches, d’inspiration et de l’envie ! Autant de points qui jalonnent ma vie et que j’ai à coeur de partager. Dans la peinture j’ai toujours été admirative du travail des impressionnistes en général, Monet, Modigliani, Turner, Van Gogh… les estampes japonaises… j’aime aussi découvrir le travail des artistes contemporains. Je pratique la photo et pour l’Himalaya, celles de Matthieu Ricard ont été une grande source d’inspiration pour mes aquarelles. Mes autres inspirations sont la Nature, mon imaginaire, mes rêves et de plus en plus, comme une impression d’être guidée lorsque je parviens à lâcher prise. Certaines peintures se sont révélées comme étant des peintures médecines. J’ai d’abord peins du figuratif et un jour mon pinceau m’a proposé autre chose que ce que j’avais en tête. Je ne sais pas toujours ce que je vais peindre ou dessiner, j’accueille ce qui est dans l’instant présent et c’est tout naturellement que je continue mon chemin vers une peinture plus abstraite avec toujours mes essentiels qui sont la couleur et la lumière.

En peignant le vélo, je m'imagine dessus et tente de garder l'équilibre dans la neige. J'ai aimé jouer avec le noir et le blanc, un défi pour moi qui aime la couleur, réussir à l'éclairer avec juste du noir et du blanc, à le colorer peut-être. Jouer aussi avec la verticalité et l'horizontalité. J'aime les contrastes, un grand décor avec des petits détails qu'il faut aller chercher et qui raconte une histoire.
