Stessy Chenail est une artiste québécoise de la région de l’Estrie. Depuis son tout jeune âge, la passion pour la création a marqué sa vie et lui a donné tout son sens. Après plusieurs formations en art, elle décide d'orienter sa créativité vers le design de mode. C'est donc à titre de designer qu'elle a été, pendant 14 ans, propriétaire d'une entreprise de confection de robes sur mesure et de jupes de neige. Durant ces années, elle a également remporté plusieurs prix pour ses réalisations de robes de papier. Grâce à cette expérience, elle a été sélectionnée comme juge dans 2 concours de créations de papier, dont le concours Collection blanc Cashmere. Depuis 2017, elle a réorienté ses activités artistiques vers le dessin et la peinture afin de mieux incarner le fondement même de sa passion : voir la beauté en toute chose, en toute personne et la transmettre à travers ses créations. Comme artiste portraitiste, elle a le souci de réaliser des toiles sur mesure ajustées à la personnalité de ses clients et à leurs critères propres. Elle s'implique aussi auprès des jeunes en animant des ateliers de dessin et d’art plastique dans les écoles. Ayant à cœur le développement culturel de sa communauté, elle a collaboré à l’élaboration de la politique culturelle municipale. De plus, elle a participé à plusieurs expositions locales, notamment dans le cadre des Journées de la culture. Stessy Chenail is an artist from the Eastern Townships region of Quebec. Since her youth, she has been passionate about creation. She has taken several art courses throughout her life. Since her childhood, she perceives the beauty in everything that surrounds her. This beauty is bold and mischievous, not afraid to take risks. She's outspoken, naughty and loves a challenge. Her childlike side is irresistible and invites play: "Who wants to join me?" She is named after the goddess of fertility, celebration and passion, who also gave her name to Friday, a day for celebration and joy of life.
