Charles Robert Watts was an English musician who achieved international fame as the. Drummer of The Rolling Stones from 1963 until his death in 2021. Originally trained as a graphic artist , Watts developed a interest in jazz at a young age and later designed many of the The Rolling Stones record sleeves and tour stages. Nicknamed “The Wembley Whammer” by Mick Jagger , Watts cited exposure to jazz at an early age as a major influencer on his style.
