Description Wrong Way 3 (R code, 8/11/2021). This generative artwork is part of a three-part series (numbered 1,2,3). One thousand and six hundred irregular square-shaped polygons were generated with normally distributed area. Each square was layered with eighteen nested miniature concentric tiles. Color gradient selection reflected row number and distance from the center of the plot area, such that the colors varied more towards the edges. Fill colors were randomly set to black and dark orange for a small percentage of random tiles. A bright orange background glimmers between tiles in a few places. The image dimensions are 16x20 inches and 300 DPI, which produced a file size below the 50 MB limit but provides a higher resolution (more detail) than the original version shown online.
