ABOUT THIS ARTWORK: SIDEWAYS BW
I got into Paragliding for about 6 months down in Macedonia while working there with the UN. While traveling in San Diego last year to visit family I managed to find some paragliders over in Torrey Pines. This particular paraglider is ibviously experienced at that site and put on a low altitude show that day. It takes a lot of skill to master the glider while also being in tune with the conditions which change constantly. Each site is a little different. Having flown thermals and slope from the mountains, there's alot more going on than meets the eye. What looks to be relatively peaceful from the ground is really quite exhilarating when you're actually doing it. - Nikon DSLR with F2.8 FL ED lens at 120mm.
