Growing up in the wilds of Northern England, I have always felt a natural affinity with plant life in all its glorious formations. This fascination, combined with education in art schools in Canterbury and London, UK, has become a passion in my life and now something I want to share with you. In my recent work, I have tried to emphasize the wonderful textures and sculptural formations of cacti and other plant life by using various photographic techniques and playing with colour, which has often resulted in a more abstract image.
