Fact is I want art collectors to love and purchase my originals — reality is my friends and family are unable to invest in them at this time, so I opened this Pictorem shop. DID I MAKE A MISTAKE? I'm all about being true to myself and being genuine with everyone I come in contact with. I think my art speaks to that and I believe that those who like what I do will enjoy my creativity no matter what. I’m just a mom and a grandma who is sentimental and sees the world with TLC. Now you have the ability to own art prints of my oil paintings and photographs, I'm super excited to see which ones you love most. In my sentimental heart I believe that when you choose any print you are bringing the energy of that tender love, passion and beauty into your home and at the same time you are encouraging me while I raise three grandchildren. I taught art for over 25 years and began my personal artwork journey on a full time basis in 2014. I hit a brick wall when a life alteing event happened in 2019. My art and work life came to a grinding halt. I was in a dark place, grappling with life and I admit I was angry at everything and everyone! How could this happen??!! I never imagined this would happen and throughout the next 6 years I had to set my intention on healing from that pain and grief because I DID NOT want to get swallowed up in it! I choose LIFE!. It’s been a very enlightening journey and at one point I got so tired of playing the game of living this life because I had a hard time understanding why the world kept going on when my world fell apart. Out of self-preservation and the desire to be a good grandma and a good example that I had to force myself to focus on healing. When emotions or situations get too BIG people say “take a walk” – “shake it off”! Instead what I did was escape into a painting, it was an avenue, a portal to peace and that sparked many new paintings. It all started in 2024. I thought "Since I’m painting again I may as well have an art show of my work and get back on track!” That was the beginning of re-entering into the flow. My first new art show was August 2025 and now I think it's time to make select images of my work available in print. My life has always been dedicated to my family and lending a helping hand or encouraging others, and now that I'm painting again my hope is that someone else will sense that peacefulness that I felt while creating my artwork. I am truly grateful for all you art lovers—thank you for visiting my Gallery.
