I am a Former Freelance Photographer Age 68. From 1980-1995 I did a variety of Photography which included Weddings, Real Estate, Portrait & Photojournalism. I received my A.A.S. Degree in 1982 from the College Of Dupage in Wheaton, Illinois a Chicago West Suburb. I took almost every course offered from 1979-1982 & was the Evening Photo Lab Aide for just over a year & loved every minute of it. I Enjoyed Black & White Darkroom Printing Immensely. After College I worked in the Retail 1 Hour Lab Industry that was just beginning back then. I had always wanted to restore the collection of Photographs from my Parents Families that go back to the late 1800's so In 1998 I went back to College Of Dupage to improve my self-taught Photoshop Skills with a Teacher I knew who had come back to teach Photoshop. I have Digitally Restored many of them & continue to do so. Since they are all from My Family I will not post them online until I find a way of online protection I can trust. I received my first camera, a Kodak Instamatic 104, for Christmas 1968. My first 35mm Camera was a Canon Canonet 28 Rangefinder in 1976. In the Spring Of 1979 I bought my first 35mm SLR an Olympus OM2. I was A Boy Scout which developed my interest in Nature & Outdoor Photography. For 10 years I was My Mom's Home Caregiver. Mom Passed Away On June 15, 2019 from dementia. From April 2018 she was in the American Healthcare Industry & I was with her nearly everyday during that time too. Only those that have been through it can understand the horror of watching a Vibrant Active Person As My Mom Was Being Destroyed By dementia. I had to put away many things including working on My Art. What you see in My Portfolio is my past & more recent work. I use Photoshop Elements & Corel Paintshop to Create My Digital Art which comes mostly from My Original Photography. I Have Created Digital Images From Blank Digital Canvases too. I have lost my Passion To Create New Art & Hope It Will Return To Me Someday. For now I will occasionally post a new image I just am not sure how often that will be.
