ABOUT THIS ARTWORK: HISTORY
I found this in the archives recently. I'm naming this "History". I visited this site a while back, it stood on our family ranch. There was a whole group of very well preserved Pinion trees in a dry pond. My Dad called it the Rock Pond. I have thought about that area and the pond in relations to the fire on the Black Canyon, which this pond is a part of now. As far as I can tell the fire did not reach this point. I have never understood how these old tress so be so well preserved.
