The afternoon sun, a warm golden orb hanging low over the Atlantic, streamed through the large windows of the minimalist apartment in De Waterkant. Elara lay on her back on the crisp white sheets, her arm bent behind her head, her gaze drifting towards the play of light and shadow on the ceiling. The city sounds were a distant hum, a soothing backdrop to her quiet reverie. Later, inspired by the simplicity and the golden light of that moment, Elara, a digital artist known for her abstract interpretations of form, created a new piece. It was a study in minimal lines and simplified shapes, dominated by a warm, luminous yellow against a backdrop of cool white and soft gray. The suggestion of a reclining figure emerged from the blocks of yellow, a simplified representation of the human form viewed from the back. The lines were clean and uncluttered, focusing on the essential curves of the body. The arm bent behind the head created a subtle interplay of angles and negative space.
