I’m Jane Mishkind, an oil painter dedicated to capturing the profound expressions of nature. Each piece is created using the old world techniques of the masters, and with an eye for meaning. Each piece is reflective of a well lived life, gentle in nature; a poetic landscape. With a Master’s in Art Therapy and a Doctorate in Holistic Health Counseling, I paint as a form of ancient healing work. I appreciate any opportunity to connect directly with kindred spirits as they discover pieces of their own story in my work. My painting are meant to be experienced, not just viewed. Each painting should invoke your own interpretation to the world, and that is why I choose not to title my work. My paintings can be used as art for interior designers, hotels, and other curated spaces, as well as personal enjoyment. Fine art selections are available in a variety of custom sizes and substrates.
