ABOUT THIS ARTWORK: METROWAVE - BULGE
This started life as a failed attempt to capture the whole ceiling of the Washington DC Metro in one fluid panoramic shot. I stumbled and bungled the whole thing up but in this mistake I think I have created something way more interesting. This composition is created through copying and mirroring the original failed panorama twice (for 4 total copies stitched together). This version was mirrored in the opposite orientation of my initial attempt, to me I feel like this one makes it seem more like it is bulging out toward the viewer.
