ABOUT THIS ARTWORK: BAFFIN BAY BLUES
My second trip with Adventure Canada was the "High Arctic Explorer" that was to sail from Greenland to Resolute Bay. Things got delayed because of the ice coverage and we found ourselves in the middle of Baffin Bay with the calmest waters ever. Still smile when I think about the zodiac ride that took us a bit closer to the icebergs,. A surreal experience. Such a sense of peace sitting in the middle of Baffin Bay and being serenaded by our zodiac drivers two of whom brought along guitars - a fabulous memory!
