I grew up—and still live—on Long Island, a place that has always inspired my love for photography. Since my teenage years, I've been drawn to capturing the beauty around me. Long Island is rich with natural wonders: ocean shores, dense forests, tranquil ponds, winding rivers, and wide open spaces. I believe that nature is one of God's greatest gifts—a living painting, a sculpture, a masterpiece freely given to us. I’m constantly inspired by the beauty of His creation, and I hope to reflect that in my work. No matter where you go, nature offers a moment of awe: a blooming flower, a glowing sunset, a silent tree, or a fleeting glimpse of wildlife. The bluffs along the Atlantic Ocean shoreline are also known as Hoodoos. When European travelers saw the bluffs they seemed evil to them. The word Hoodoo is a derivative of voodoo, which has a meaning of "evil spell." There are many legends along this particular area of Montauk, Long Island. The bluffs, or hoodoos are home to Bank Swallow, who build their nests into the soil.
