The waxy, golden yellow fruit gets it’s name because if it is cut in cross-section, the pieces resemble a star. In the U.S., the trees are grown commercially in Florida and throughout the Southwestern parts of the country. Photographed on the Florida Gulf coast and artistically altered for creative and aesthetic appeal.
