Kai Young, an artist from Columbia, MD discovered her passion for creativity at a very young age, being raised by two fine artists. After moving to Atlanta, Kai attended SCAD ( Savannah College of Art and Design) with a major in Fashion Design, in hopes to combine her passion for art and fashion together. While there, she found herself looking for ways to represent herself and reflect black culture in her work. Greatly influenced by Atlanta's diverse creative industry, Kai has since made it her mission to use her gift as a tool to empower POC . Kai's paintings are bold, colorful, and inspirational pieces that celebrates black culture.
