I completed my college education as a 30 year old. It was while I was taking an art class as a senior, that I realized in my heart that I wanted to be an artist. Because I had a family to support I ignored those feelings until much later on. After my divorce I got into painting, and started taking classes at the Phoenix Art Museum and The Scottsdale Artist School, and began painting again. Over the years I have stopped painting several times but I have always come back stronger. I recently sold 2 paintings to the Phoenician Resort which really helped my confidence going forward.
