Travelling all over the world in an attempt to capture magic moments, to witness a miracle and touch with your own soul the magnificent, beautiful and wonderful creation of God, in order to show this amazing world we live in. “The earth is art; the photographer is only a witness.” – Yann Arthus-Bertrand I am a Christian fine art photographer from California who loves capturing the beautiful landscapes and nature of North America, Europe and around the world, exploring the magnificent, beautiful and wondrous creations of God such as waterfalls and coastlines, canyons and mountains, deserts and wilderness, forests and valleys. For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to take pictures, as I have always enjoyed visiting and exploring new beautiful and interesting places. In my youth, I even had a cheap amateur camera, which I used to shoot everything. Just four years ago, I decided to become a professional photographer. I received my formal and traditional photography education from two leading photographers. One is from British Columbia, Canada and the other is from Florida, USA. With the help of these two outstanding photographers and educators, I developed my own unique style of photography and photo editing. I continue to improve my skills and gain new knowledge in modern photography. In four years, I went from amateur to award-winning professional photographer, whose photographs were digitally exhibited at World Valid Hall Gallery in Barcelona, Spain; at Laurent Gallery in St. Kilda, Melbourne, Australia; in the Galitz Photo School, Tel Aviv, Israel; in Frames: Center for Photography, Edinburgh, Scotland. Also my photos were published in Dodho Digital Photographer Magazine. My biggest love in photography is visiting a new place and trying to capture its most iconic landmarks in a unique and fresh way. As an explorer, observer, pilgrim and photographer, this great opportunity allows me to produce high resolution prints with great color and clarity. ABOUT THIS ARTWORK: SNAKE RIVER OR ANSEL ADAMS OVERLOOK.
This viewpoint is famous for Ansel Adams' iconic photo of the Tetons and Snake River in 1942. Ansel Adams, an American photographer who was the most important landscape photographer of the 20th century. He is perhaps the most widely known and beloved photographer in the history of the U.S. Many of his photographs were of national parks and other protected areas of the American West. This location shows the Snake River Overlook which is a viewpoint on Hwy 89 between Moran Junction and Moose Junction. Ansel Adams photographed this iconic view of the Teton Range and Snake River from roughly this vantage point. The sweep of the Snake River below the sagebrush flats and the high peaks of the Teton Range towering above enthrall all who visit. Today visitors try to capture this image forgetting that trees have grown and the exact location is not known. Below this point, rafters access the Snake River at Deadmans Bar coming downstream from Pacific Creek or continuing on to Moose. The headwaters for the Snake River are in the Teton Wilderness just outside of Yellowstone National Park. After flowing into Yellowstone briefly, the river cuts through Grand Teton National Park, across Idaho and flows into the Columbia River in Washington. Previous names include the Lewis River (after Lewis & Clark), La Maudite Riviere Enragee (The Accursed Mad River by French fur trappers), the Mad River, Sho-sho-ne-pah (or Shoshone Indians) that lead to the final name Snake River.
