Frozen Layers presents a mesmerizing cross-sectional cube of an icy world, revealing the secret strata beneath its frozen surface in stunning clarity and vivid color. The structure is divided into distinct horizontal zones, each representing a different phase in the cryogenic evolution of the landscape. At the very top lies a smooth, opaque layer of pure white snow or frost—untouched, serene, and almost sterile in appearance. This surface conceals the vibrant complexities below. Beneath this top crust, a semi-translucent aquamarine layer simulates a frozen sea or glacial shelf, interrupted by hints of organic-like formations—perhaps frost corals or alien ice flora suspended in eternal stillness. This upper level gradually gives way to a jagged, blue crystalline mass, whose texture resembles a frozen canyon or the fractured architecture of deep ice caves. Sharp crests and deep grooves define this section, suggesting millennia of pressure and cold sculpting its interior. Lower still, the ice deepens into a darker cyan shade, with horizontal white bands cutting across—each perhaps marking a different geological epoch or environmental shift.
