Since childhood I paint and draw. Early on I was also interested in technology and history. Like many artists, I am very rarely satisfied with my works. One strives for perfection, trying to get at least close to it. On many journeys here in Europe and North Africa I saw fantastic works of art, architecture and landscapes, I met people from many countries. History has shown us that there have great artists, architects, scientists and philosophers in every culture and every nation. Nationalism, misunderstood patriotism or religions have caused the biggest wars and the most unbelievable misery in history. Whenever a society is was characterized by tolerance and openness, it became very successful and everyone prospered. I hope for the future that mankind learns more from history, overcomes borders in the heads and on the map. and on the map, and that with mutual respect and tolerance we overcome the global global problems of this time. Every human being has the right to a dignified existence, education and an undestroyed nature.

ABOUT THIS ARTWORK: MEDEA
Medea is a female figure of Greek mythology. Since ancient times, the Medea saga has been one of the best-known subjects of world literature. It has also had a strong influence on the fine arts and music. Medea is the magical daughter of King Aietes of Colchis on the east coast of the Black Sea. The Argonauts, a group of heroes led by Pelias nephew Iason, travel there on behalf of King Pelias of Iolkos (today Volos). They are to capture the Golden Fleece guarded by Aietes and bring it to Iolkos. Out of love Medea helps Jason to the fleece and flees with the Argonauts. She marries Jason. In Iolkos, for his sake, she devises a trick through which King Pelias dies, on which the two Iolkos rely and settle in Corinth. There they live for some time with their two sons. Then Jason repudiates Medea to marry the daughter of King Kreon of Corinth. In revenge, Medea murders Kreon, his daughter and her own children. She flees to Athens and marries King Aigeus. Thus she becomes the stepmother of the hero Theseus. In a conflict with Theseus, however, she is unable to assert herself. Therefore she has to leave the country and turns to Asia. There are different statements about her further fate.
