Influences Martin Gaudreault, véritable chasseur d’images, dévoile sa passion en interprétant les paysages avec un regard animé par la passion. Mettant en lumière les détails de la nature et des paysages où la poésie s'exprime intensément, il puise son inspiration dans des influences artistiques majeures. Son grand-oncle, René Richard, peintre canadien renommé, a su capturer la solitude des vastes espaces nordiques à travers les saisons, laissant une empreinte indélébile sur Martin Gaudreault en tant que photographe. Henri Cartier-Bresson, le photographe et dessinateur français, représente une autre source d'inspiration majeure. Admirant la maîtrise du photojournaliste dans la composition, notamment à travers ses clichés de rues et sa représentation des aspects pittoresques de la vie quotidienne, Cartier-Bresson a profondément influencé le travail de Gaudreault. Le couple de photographes Mia et Klaus (Mia Matthes et Klaus-Peter Matthes) a également laissé une marque significative sur l'approche artistique de Martin Gaudreault, particulièrement pour leur manière distinctive de présenter la beauté des différentes régions du Québec.
