My subject matter includes architectural, waterscapes, landscapes, macro and abstracts both nature and other interesting objects. My wildlife subjects include songbirds, raptors, reptiles and mammals. I have received special recognition in the form of competition winners and/or published images including Canadian Geographic, Canadian Wildlife, Photolife, Sigma Canada, Outdoor Photography Canada, Our Canada and PhotoNews. I love to spend my days in nature capturing everything from landscapes to animals to a simple flower or a minute insect. The grey blue spiraling leaves and the chartreuse yellow flower cluster is quite attractive in the garden as groundcover but be careful when handling it as it exudes a milky substance when the stem is broken, that irritates the skin and causes a rash.
