My art work shows a strong sense of composition and pattern. My layering of paper, use of found materials (like sheet music), and integration of painted elements create rich, tactile surfaces. There’s a thoughtful balance between detail and simplicity—each piece invites close inspection but also reads well from a distance. Colour choices are bold but harmonious, and my transitions between hues (especially in backgrounds and floral elements)
I am happy to contribute my work to non profit societies for fundraising.
I retired from my career in Health care in 2017. I have been creating art all my adult life. I have a certificate in Fine Art from Emily Care University of Art and Design in Vancouver and have had my work shown at the Federation of Canadian Artists in Granville Island, the North Vancouver Art Council Gallery, North Vancouver City Hall, the Hornby Island Herring Festival, Fraser Health Authority and the Pearl Ellis Gallery in Comox.
