I´m 45 years old and i´ve been illustrating professionaly for about 20 years now. Since 1992, I've created illustrations, greeting cards, designed posters, worked on comic books, illustrated board games, designed websites and even did a lot of software design creating visual content and layouts for hospitality software among many other areas. That and a lot of generic graphic design. If you need an illustrator or children book artist, I'm skilled in watercolors, acrylics, color pencils, etc but at the moment i do most of my work in digital. I work in digital, traditional or sometimes a mix of both techniques. In my galleries you´ll find a lot of children book illustrations that were started in traditional watercolor but were later mixed within photoshop or any other digital painting tool. I don´t like to get stuck on using just one thing or technique and I go where the client needs me to go to achieve an image that we both like in the end. That is what´s important. A good illustration. How we get there it really does not matter.

ABOUT THIS ARTWORK: LOOKING FOR DOROTHY
A good example of something that I love to do, which is create my own versions of popular things. In this case I wanted to depict my own version of the Wizard of Oz, or at leas Oz world. So this is another of my cinematic fantasy landscapes, this time trying to capture the spirit of L.Frank Baum´s books while being inspired by the movie version. Magic forests, yellow brick road, Dorothy (missing), coward lion, scarecrow and tin man, along with toto, all are present in my rendition of the world of oz.
