COINCIDENCE, THE BEAUTY OF STRANGENESS & THE PROCESS OF TRANSFORMATION THROUGH CHANCE OCCURRENCE
Inspired by the tradition of Vanitas painting, these collages inhabit a liminal space between representation and abstraction, shaped by an intuitive, organic process. Each composition unfolds through distortion, layering, and reconstruction—reflecting nature’s unpredictable, ephemeral tendencies. Translucent veils, shifting textures, and fractured imagery evoke moments of transition, and fleeting beauty where memory and form dissolve into new relationships.

Brief Biog:
Born Nottingham/UK. Studied Fine Art/Painting 1983-89: Nottingham Trent University, Manchester Met University (BA Hons), Chelsea College of Art/UAL (MA) London.
Followed by five years of studio-based independent art practice (Nottingham/London) & later working within the arts in central London before moving to Barcelona in 2001. Since then, moves to Madrid, Rome, Paris & Berlin preceded a return to Barcelona in 2019.
