Baker’s Infinite Canvas presents portraits of people who refuse to be reduced by what they have survived. Moving between painterly realism and bold graphic color, the work examines bodily autonomy, illness, grief, aging, and quiet acts of refusal. These subjects are not presented as inspirational symbols. They are complicated people claiming the right to exist without permission, explanation, or apology. Digital and AI tools are part of the process. Human experience remains the subject.

ABOUT THIS ARTWORK: DIVINE WHISPER
In Divine Whisper, the iconic image of Jesus is reimagined through a prism of contemporary artistry, bringing forth a vision that resonates with the soul's longing for peace and unity. The artwork is a tapestry of vivid hues and intricate patterns, each element contributing to a sense of profound tranquility and reflective depth. Jesus's closed eyes and peaceful countenance invite the viewer to a moment of introspection, to connect with the still, small voice within that calls for love and understanding in a world often divided. The celestial halo that surrounds him is not merely a symbol of holiness but a representation of enlightenment and wisdom that transcends all boundaries of faith and creed. The swirling colors that envelop his form are reminiscent of the diverse experiences and emotions that weave together the human experience, celebrating the beauty in diversity and the strength found in togetherness. Divine Whisper challenges us to look beyond the surface, to see the essence of Jesus's teachings as a guiding light for all humanity, regardless of background or belief. It is a call to embrace the values he championed—kindness to the stranger, love without conditions, and the pursuit of justice for the oppressed. This artwork is a reminder that the path to a better world is paved with acts of love, large and small, and that each of us has the capacity to make a difference. In the universal language of love that this portrait speaks, we find the inspiration to care for everyone and the affirmation that indeed, love is love.
