ABOUT THIS ARTWORK: CONSTELLATION KEE
Constellation Kee. Astronomers aren't entirely sure what caused this super-celestial phenomenon, or the clusters of stars that orbit on the galaxy's edges. It's possible that the blooms are shock waves from a relatively recent galactic collision that also provided the galaxy with new fuel for star formation. There are multiple active supernovas in the galaxy and remnants of thousands more. The pink color is a direct result of the new stars forming in the system which release an immense amount of ultra-violet energy which is absorbed by the surrounding dust and gas, turning it pink. Definitively calling this the prettiest constellation is no doubt an understatement - - it appears as an intergalactic Kee Vos apparition in the Van Gogh Galaxy discovered by the Lowell Phoenix Devin Fine Art Laboratory, and legend has it her name is Kee, which both asks and answers the following question: could there be a greater, more lasting painterly tribute to such an all-but-forgotten celestial woman who needs to be gently re-awakened in the fine-art cosmos?
