David Pinter, a native of Massachusetts, is an avid mountain biker and hiker. David is a published children's storybook author of "The Butterfly and the Moth" and also has to his credit, several published poems in multiple magazines and periodicals. Working as a Multimedia Designer for a major University, David has taught collegiate level courses in design layout, photographic imagery, and form and function. In his studio, David photographs, models, corporate clients, and media personalities. While out of the studio, his concentration is focused heavily on architecture, nature, and abstracts. David's photographs have been published in numerous books and has been showcased at the Sky Harbor Airport Museum. In David Pinter's own words, "Photographing abstract images came to me quite by accident. One day, I was capturing the sun's rays shining through the slats of a staircase. After reviewing the images later on in the evening, I realized there was something very special about how the light played off the hidden shadows and how contrasting shapes created a life on its own. Since I had a passion for architectural photography, I began looking at contemporary design in a whole new light. Sometimes I wonder if the architect is ever fully aware that within his own creations are hidden designs of perplexity beyond imagination."
