Boss Digital Art
Boss Digital Art | Reginald Spencer My work is born at the intersection of Edmonton’s industrial heritage and the frontier of digital surrealism. I have an enduring fascination with the "bones" of our city - specifically the pivotal industrial era from the turn of the century through the mid-1900s. I have developed a meticulous eye for the heavy hardware and structural symmetry that define these historical spaces. I realized that traditional photography alone couldn't always capture the heavy, atmospheric weight and the visceral "industrial guts" of the district. BDA was created to bridge that gap. THE VISION: INSPIRED ART Every collection is a generative reimagining - a meticulous digital reconstruction of the textures, shadows, and symmetry that define our past. By blending historical research with advanced generative tools, I curate perspectives that feel both hauntingly vintage and sharply modern. This is a cinematic tribute to the resilience of those who built the ground we stand on. THE COLLECTIONS From the flagship "District 1917: The Warehouse Series" to future explorations of our industrial arteries, every piece is a curated limited edition designed for maximum impact as an architectural statement. Welcome to the hidden history of Edmonton.
ABOUT THIS ARTWORK: THRESHOLD: ASHDOWN NO. 4
Threshold | Ashdown No. 4 Threshold serves as the transitional anchor of the Ashdown Collection within the District 1917: The Warehouse Series. Marking the first movement from the sub-basement interior into the atmospheric dusk of the 1910s, Threshold looks out from the shadows of a massive loading bay toward the literal lifeline of the era: the Canadian Northern Railway. A weathered, wooden-bodied CNoR boxcar sits on the spur - its faded paint and rusted stencils bearing the grit of a thousand prairie miles. Framed by heavy timber doors and the signature BDA indigo glow, this piece is a study in the quiet transition between internal silence and external demand. Limited Edition: Strictly limited to 100 pieces. Includes a verified Certificate of Authenticity. Gallery Standard Recommendation: To ensure the deep shadows, the vibrant indigo light, and the meticulous detail of the CNoR boxcar are fully realized, I highly recommend the HD Metal or 3/16" Acrylic finish. These high-gloss surfaces make the exterior dusk and the wet dock appear three-dimensional with the cinematic clarity this history deserves.
